REAGEN™Sulfaguanidine ELISA Test Kit is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Sulfaguanidine in feed, fish, eggs, honey, meat (beef, chicken and pork), milk, milk powder, serum, shrimp and urine.
The method is based on a competitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The plate wells are coated with capture antibodies directed against anti- Sulfaguanidine antibodies. Sulfaguanidine standards or sample solution, Sulfaguanidine–HRP conjugate and anti-Sulfaguanidine antibodies are added. Free Sulfaguanidine and Sulfaguanidine-HRP Conjugate compete for the Sulfaguanidine antibody binding sites. At the same time, the anti- Sulfaguanidine antibodies are also bound by the immobilized capture antibodies. Any unbound Sulfaguanidine-HRP Conjugate is then removed in a washing step. The TMB Substrate is added to the wells. The resulting color intensity, after addition of substrate, has an inverse relationship with the target concentration in the sample.
