Feline herpesvirus mainly enters the body through eye and nasal secretions and saliva, and then causes lytic infection of the nasal mucosal epithelial cells, which is transmitted to the conjunctiva, throat, trachea, bronchus and bronchiole. Specific symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, excessive discharge from the eyes, conjunctivitis, keratitis and stomatitis.
