Intended Use

REAGEN The AIV-H5N 1 Antigen Rapid Test Kit is used to detect the avian influenza virus (AIV) H5N1 antigen in milk samples and is used for the screening and auxiliary diagnosis of avian influenza virus (AIV) H5N1 infection.

Mechanism of Reaction

This kit is made based on the principle of immunochromatographic test. The sample moves along the chromatographic membrane together with the marker after being added to the sample well. If there is AIV H5N1 antigen in the sample, it will show purple-red when it binds to the marker and the antibody on the detection line, if there is no AIV H5N1 antigen in the sample, there will be no color reaction.

Kit Contents, Storage and Shelf Life

REAGEN The AIV-H5N1 Antigen Rapid Test Kit has the capacity for 32 determinations. The shelf life is 24 months when the kit is properly stored.

Sample  Preparation

1. This kit is suitable for detecting milk samples.
2. Test samples should be collected fresh and should be tested as soon as possible within 1 hour.
3. Take fresh milk tocentrifuge for 5 minutes in 4000r/min,take the supernatant to be tested.
4. If it cannot be detected in time, milk samples can be stored at 2-8℃ for 3 days, and at -20℃ for 1 month.

Testing  Protocol

1. Tear the aluminum foil bag of the testcard and take out the test card, put it on a flat and clean table (pay attention to restoring the test card and reagent to room temperature before the experiment).
2. Take 3drop of milk sample with a plastic dropper into the test card sample well,and wait for the test result.
3. Leave it at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to judge the result, and the result after 15 minutes is invalid.

Result Inter pretation

Negative: In the observation well, only a purple red line appeared in the control line area (C).

Positive: In the observation well, the test line area (T) and the control line area (C) appeared purple red line at the same time. The color of the line can be dark or light, and all are positive results.

Invalid: In the observation well, no purple red line appears in the control line area (C). Whether or not a band appears in the detection line area (T). The results were not valid and the test strip should be taken again.
